Christmas is out of the way now, and we are into the last few days of 2024. So, I have decided to do a Christmas special Grotto Gazette! It may be short, but that's okay 🤭.
Christmas for us was mildly busy, not as busy as in past years though. We spent some of the day at home, opening presents from various people. Then we ventured to my mum's where we had Christmas dinner followed by more presents. V was pleased with most of the things she got, although she did pull a face whenever she got clothes 🤣. I got some new PJs, and we got an air fryer! We are excited to play with our new kitchen toy 🤭. Did Christmas feel ~off~ to anyone else? Personally, it felt a bit strange but I can't pinpoint why.
D is back home on Friday, I am excited to see him again. There are no plans on the table until then, just trying to keep it chill while also sorting things out at home after Christmas made things messy 🤣. On Saturday I am taking D out for a little treat, given it's our half-a-year anniversary. I have a special present lined up for him too. Hopefully, I'll be able to show it off in the Grotto Gazette in the new year. This is the only half-year anniversary I'll celebrate since it being our first is special to me.
So far we don't have any plans for New Year's Eve. M is working, but thankfully he finishes at 10 pm so he can join in with whatever we end up doing! More than likely we will end up having drinks at home 😅. M is working New Year's Day too so sadly he can't drink too much if that is what we do. It should still be a good evening regardless.
I think that's everything I have to say right now 🤔. So, I guess I will leave this Gazette here. Have a good rest of the year, I will see you in 2024 🤭.
